Adventures in self degradation and humiliation

18+ ONLY! I am the wall of text on your dashboard. This is a blog with tasks, advice, and stories aimed toward female submissives without partners, are in long term relationships, just getting started, etc. Most of the emphasis is going to be on solo play and most of the posts are going to be more instructive rather than immersive. Even though I'm concentrating on femsubs, everyone is welcome (unless you're underage. If you are, kindly leave until you mature). TRIGGER WARNING: Just about everything. Snowflakes enter at your own risk.

A Place to Lay Your Head

Moving and redecorating (and, well, forgetting the crux of the bed frame) has got me thinking about bed choices. Even if you don't have a Dom to tell you to sleep in an unconventional place, doesn't mean you can't have fun with it. So how many different places can you sleep? Let's start with obvious ones shall we

Beds

Suuuuper obvious right? I mean, hey, that's what they're designed for. Now, how can we sub up a bed sleeping situation? Well There's the child bed option, maybe a bit small and cramped or at the very least twin sized. This can be fun for DD/lg play or some role play options. If you're more for the cuck or pet experience then only use the foot of the bed. You can fill the main portion with stuff to prevent you from straying. If you want more of a dungeon theme then plop a mattress straight on the floor - the dirtier the better. And then of course, there's always the ultimate sub option for the bed - it's not yours, you can't sit or sleep on it, you can only look at it with longing.

The Floor

I mean, again clearly a second choice. Everyone has one! Floors are definitely not the most comfortable option. I've slept on a few floors in my time and let me tell you, even shag carpeting doesn't do much to hide the fact you're trying to sleep on a slab of concrete or a big chunk of wood. And then there's always the fact that unless you decide to dig a ditch, you can't get any lower than the ground. On the flip side - as someone with some back issues- it can take a toll on the body. You can always add something to give a little cushion - sleeping bag, lounge chair cushion, pillows, pool float, etc.

The Bathroom

What's not to like about the bathroom as a sleeping place? It has easy to clean floors, usually a tub or a shower with a drain for some messy sleeping experiences, hell it even comes with the only water bowl some of us are fit to drink from. Sure it's a bit cramped, but if you're looking for a place to sleep off a wet and messy play session and worry about the cleaning, best bet is on the room with a drain.

Dog Beds

In the new age of pampered pooches, dog beds have come a long way from basically being a pillow. Heck, mattress companies are even making them nowadays! Getting a good quality dog bed is possibly the closest a sub can get to a proper bed that's not, well, a bed. If you're looking for a longer term solution, a good dog bed may be the option that allows you to save your back and body damage.

Outdoors

Ah, yes, the great outdoors. Sleeping under the stars, communing with nature. Personally, not my cup of tea. That said, there is something appealing about spending a night shivering at the mercy of the elements. There's a lot of room for creativity here: the experiences can vary from a plush tent and air mattress to a literal dog house to wallowing in a bug invested mud pit. You should definitely consider privacy concerns with this option as well.

Confining spaces

A bit vague this one, but stay with me. This is more of a use what you have situation and potentially the most dangerous choice. Assuming you're not claustrophobic, this category is more about cribs, cages, storage trunks, cabinets, closets and the like. Of course this can be tailored to your individual tastes - cribs for age play, cages for pet play or dungeon experience, etc. The main concern here is safety, especially with solo play. If you're going in a confining space, you need to make sure of several things

  • Air - first off you should make sure there's no chance (not a 10% chance, not a 2% chance, but a 0% chance) that your space can be air tight causing you to suffocate. There's nothing sexy about becoming a permanent jack or jill in the box.
  • Position - Positional asphyxiation is a real thing. Always make sure that you aren't restricting any air or blood flow. There's a difference between uncomfortable and waking up to notice something has gone a few steps further than just asleep. Also remember that people move in all sorts of ways in their sleep.
  • Escapability - Make sure that once you're in a confining space, you can get out of it again. This means being sure that your space can't lock, though if it does you can unlock it with certainty (keys break every day ya'll), but it also means you'll have the leverage and body strength to get out of a space. Also a good (if embarrassing) back up plan is always a good idea. A way to reach out to someone you trust if all else fails.

Additions

Additions to your space can alter your sleeping experience for the better or worse. You can always add extra padding to make your slumbers a little more comfortable. And then of course stuff animals can be a fun and cute addition, and of course body pillows can help to fill a space. If you're in a masochistic mood then you can always add some texture below you - sleeping on a pile of rocks or rice or sand can make your night less enjoyable. Just make sure whatever you choose isn't going to cause serious injury while you move in your sleep. Then of course there's always the temperature option - ice or A/C or heat, just be careful not to get yourself sick. And then there’s always the sleeping with restraints of blindfold options - again, this can be very risky for solo play, no strict bondage with sleep and be very careful with anything else you have planned.

And what is sleeping without waking up? If you're good with electronics or devices you can set up a special alarm system that triggers...well, I'm not entirely sure not being good with electronics. If you're game for something less precise there are other options that can be set up. Maybe rig a bucket to overflow or spill onto you, or ice locks can be a fun option. Automatic sprinklers can be fun surprise outside. Use what you have, be creative, and leave electric adventures to the experienced.

Ultimately

No matter where you sleep, make sure it’s safe and in a place you’re going to wake up in the morning. And to everyone I wish sweet dreams~
